These are amazing!

I tried Atkins products several years ago and swore never to buy another one. The first bite would be ok, the second bad and the third, just vile. And you could taste it long after you'd spit it out in disgust.When I went back to Atkins this year, I signed up on their website and they sent me a couple of free bars. Before I could throw them away, my friend saw them, and despite my warning that they were inedible, took the samples home with her.I was shocked, and very surprised when she reported back that not only were they edible, they actually tasted good. I didn't believe her until she went out, bought some of her own and made me try them.The new stuff is actually good. Honestly. Not kidding. At least the ones I tried anyway. And these, well, the peanut butter cups might be better than Reese's cups.But I'm 3 weeks into induction, so I might just be sugar deprived.But these are definitely worth a try.

The BEST Atkins Version of Low Carb Candy

Just when I'd about given up on the other Atkins versions of low carb candy except for the one that's like a Baby Ruth Atkins Advantage Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll, 1.6 oz. bars, 5-Count Box (Pack of 2), I decided to try these. There are 2 to a package, just like Reese's Cups, and maybe only 1/8" smaller in diameter. I can't tell any difference other than these are packaged in a formed plastic and don't peel away from a wrapper like Reese's does. That was one thing that always bugged me when I peeled the Reese's cup from the paper, always a tiny layer stayed behind stuck on the paper cup. Doesn't happen with these Atkins cups. Delicious witha caveat

These are delicious! I have tried other Atkins snacks that tasted like cardboard at best. The peanut butter cups taste great and being able to order from Amazon helps as my local grocery stores tend to sell out.The caveat? This time of year they melt during shipping. The chocolate, once it solidifies, is crumbly and messy. The box containing my last order must have been on its side because the melted chocolate overran one side of the cup leaving a lump of thinly chocolate covered peanut butter behind. Separately, the chocolate and peanut butter taste more like "diet" snacks. Together they are scrumptious... the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, perhaps?
